Dr. David Jackson

Dr. David Jackson, BA., MA., Ph.d., is a Registered Doctoral Psychologist. He offers counselling and psychotherapy for adults and teens. Some of the types of problems his clients experience include: Depression; Anxiety disorders; Relationship problems; Sexual difficulties; Addictions; Anger management; Trauma and other stress-related experiences; Grief and loss; Life transitions, etc.

Dr. Jackson has a Bachelor of Arts (Honors), Master of Arts (M.A.), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Manitoba. Although his primary specialty is counselling and psychotherapy, Dr. Jackson teaches courses at the University of Saskatchewan. He has also supervised the research and clinical training of graduate students and has testified in court as an expert witness in a variety of cases.

As a Clinical Assistant Professor in the College of Medicine, Dr. Jackson has provided seminars and tutorials for Family Medicine Residents and Psychiatric Residents. He has co-facilitated seminars for first- and second-year medical students (to improve their communication skills with patients). Although he loves teaching, the primary focus of his career has been counselling individuals and couples. 

In his leisure time, Dr. Jackson loves to ski, cycle, hike, camp, garden, travel, and scuba dive. He enjoys spending time with his spouse, son, friends, and members of his extended family.
